If you were born a 100 years ago your favorite Thor artist might have been Johannes Gehrts.


His artwork appeared in popular magazines and children's books at the beginning of the 20th century.

He made a living illustrating pirate stories, German legends, Fairy Tales and, obviously, Norse Mythology.
