It was also the first episode that Kirby didn't design any new characters for.

In 1962 Marvel published 134 comics. 89 of them had Kirby covers and 78 also had interior Kirby art totaling 1,167 pages.

Kirby's 15th consecutive cover for JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY hit the shops in the Fall of 1962.
