This was the 8th time that the Destroyer appeared on a cover in 14 years. Kirby rendered five of them. John Romita Senior and Walt Simonson did one each.
The 17 page Roy Thomas/Keith Pollard/Chic Stone story not only has the Destroyer's 15th appearance, it also contains Ares, Hercules and the Eternals.
