ON THE SPINNER RACKS Jan/Feb 1970

What's more exciting than Thor unconscious on a cover?

Thor unconscious and falling.

Jack Kirby's cover pencils were exquisitely embellished by Bill Everett. He also finished Kirby's 20 interior pages

ON THE SPINNER RACKS Jan/Feb 1969

Art by Jack Kirby and Vince Colletta
The 3rd consecutive issue to feature Galactus. The 18th consecutive issue that Lee/Kirby didn't create any new characters for.
To make sure the Galactus appearance had an epic feel splash pages were used for 30% of the issue.

ON THE SPINNER RACKS Jan/Feb 1968

Loki's 14th cover appearance. Like the previous 13 it was penciled by Jack Kirby. It was the 6th Loki cover to be embellished by Vince Colletta.  Dick Ayers inked 5. Ditko, Roussos & Stone each did one a piece.

Besides being on the cover Loki makes his 35th appearance in this issue.

They are not on the cover but Sif,  Balder, Karnilla, the Wrecker and the Destroyer contribute to making this a nearly perfect issue.

A 16 page chapter of a continued story.  It could have been 5 pages longer if not for the Inhumans back-up story.

There was only 2 Kirby splash pages. The other splash was basically the same as the cover composition minus the floating Loki head.

ON THE SPINNER RACKS Jan/Feb 1967

 Thor's 89th appearance.

What the cover promises the story delivers - Jack Kirby trolls!

Plus the second appearance of Ulik
- Mightiest of the Rock Trolls

Although Ulik doesn't appear in this trollfest splash, or the other  2 splashes either, he does appear on half of the 16 pages.
Sif 's 4th appearance and a 5 page Thor-centric Kirby/Colletta Tales of Asgard back-up featuring the Warriors Three make this a better than average issue.
   Both stories are continued.
