The Mangog's 8th appearance. He/she's 4th consecutive appearance (Mangog is literally composed of males and females killed by Odin). 

Mangog would not appear again for nearly 4 years.

John Buscema's sixth THOR cover (inked by Joe Sinnott) suggests that this is a continued story but doesn't mention that you missed the first two episodes.

Sif's 42nd appearance.

Hela makes a rare appearance (her 5th)

and even Doctor Don Blake appears.

Jack Kirby's cover pencils were exquisitely embellished by Bill Everett. He also finished Kirby's 20 interior pages

To make sure the Galactus appearance had an epic feel splash pages were used for 30% of the issue.
