The 4th new THOR comic that I experienced after being deprogrammed from the DC cult that my grandfather groomed me for years earlier by taking me to a barber a shop that only supplied tattered DC comics for those waiting.
As with many issues the story begins with a dynamic Kirby splash and a necessary Lee recap.
The only other Kirby and Colletta splash treats us to the full Circus of Crime and naïve Thor.
PLUS: Jane Foster was in the circus crowd and would make a one panel cameo. It was her 50th appearance and her first since THOR #136.
The 16 page story ends with a cliffhanger and a "Next - the wrath of Odin"
Thor does not appear in the debut episode of the 5 page Lee/Kirby TALES OF ASGARD replacement.
