For the second time since Thor debuted, he made 2 appearances in the same month.

The cover and the 22 page story in AVENGERS #2 are drawn by Jack Kirby. First appearance of the Space Phantom.

The cover and the 5 page Tales of Asgard back-up (starring Ymir) in JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #98 are drawn by Jack Kirby. The 13 page 1st appearance and origin of the Cobra (that's right - he was bitten by a radioactive snake) is drawn by Don Heck.

Kirby/Ayers did the cover and the 13 page Thor story that introduces a time-travelling villain from the weaponless 23rd century.

Except for the splash page the rest of pages (like the example above) used a multi-panel layout to portray the narrative. In 1962 Thor was a tool of the American Military Complex.
